The City of Covington Police Department is a force of 110 men and women. The Covington Police Department is continually recognized for its professionalism and outstanding efforts in community policing. The Covington Police Department is dedicated to the citizens, businesses and visitors of the City of Covington.

The mission of the Covington Police Department is to interact with all the citizens of Covington to improve the quality of life in our community. With an emphasis on controlling and preventing crime, they accomplish their mission by promoting a safe and secure environment through effective and responsive delivery of police services throughout our community.
