Our Parks
Covington is home to many parks. The City's Neighborhoods, Parks, and Recreation Programs and Maintenance Department is in charge of overseeing the programs and maintenance of all city parks.
The Department maintains and manages the following:
- Over 16 playgrounds with tot lots and swings
- 16 passive parks
- 11 baseball/softball fields
- 5 soccer fields
- 2 football fields
- 20 outdoor basketball courts
- 42 gardens
- the Police memorial
- the Vietnam War Memorial
- the Korean War Memorial
- the Devou Park Concert Bowl
- the Devou Park Overlook Viewing area
- the Carroll Chimes Bell Tower in MainStrasse Village
- 9 picnic shelters
- Devou Park walking-jogging-biking trails
- Goebel Park trails
- 30th & Decoursey Park trails
- Bill Cappel Youth Sports Complex walking-jogging-biking trails
- 2 modular skate parks
- Prisoners Lake (fishing) in Devou Park
- 4 swimming pools
- Covington Water Park Sprayground
